Removing Financial Barriers for Special Needs Families
Supporting stability. Restoring dignity. Rebuilding opportunity.
Our Story
I became a special needs mom overnight when my daughter was born with Trisomy 18. Nothing prepares you for how quickly life changes, or how much strength advocacy requires. I learned early that love alone isn’t enough.
Access matters. Stability matters. Support matters. Navigating therapies, adaptive equipment, and the financial realities of care revealed how fragile stability can be for families like ours.
That lived experience became the foundation for AbleNest Foundation.

Behind Every Diagnosis Is a Family Navigating Financial Strain
Behind every therapy appointment, adaptive device, and emergency expense is a family making difficult financial decisions.
Many caregivers reduce work hours or leave employment entirely to meet their child’s needs.
The financial impact is immeatiate and long-term. The AbleNest Foundation exists to restore stability during those critical moments.
